WONDERFULLY MADE

At Bayside Chapel, when we say that "our mission is to bring glory to God by leading people into fruitful relationships with Jesus Christ," we mean all people. It is to this end that we have Wonderfully Made, which is what we call our ministry to those with special needs. It is the desire of this ministry to serve individuals with special needs and their families, in order that they will experience the love of Jesus and excel to their greatest potential.

THURSDAY NIGHTS

Wonderfully Made meets regularly on Thursday evenings at 6:30pm in the Underground at Bayside Chapel. During this meeting, we create a safe and welcoming environment where the group spends some time singing, playing games in the gym, coloring, doing karaoke, and more! We even have movie nights once a month. Have more questions? Check out the FAQ.

Frequently asked questions

What ages can participate?
We welcome people of all ages with special needs.

What does it cost?
Wonderfully Made is completely free! There are occasional outings (such as Blue Claws games and Horseback riding) that come with small fees, but we have scholarships available for these outings for families who can't afford them.

Do I have to attend Bayside Chapel?
No, you do not. Though we really would love to see you at one of our Sunday morning services!

Do you have anything for the parents?
During our Thursday evening group time, we have a respite room set up with coffee and light refreshments available for the parents. This allows them the opportunity to rest, connect with other parents, and meet members of our team.

Do I need to register for Wonderfully Made?
You are welcome to pre-register by completing the form HERE, or you can register when you arrive.

We aren't religious. Is that ok?
We welcome everyone from every kind of background. You don't need to attend church and you don't need to consider yourself religious. However, please understand that there is a Bible-based lesson at each meeting, as well as leaders making themselves available to pray with any students who desire it.

Night to Shine

Night to Shine is an unforgettable prom night experience, centered on God’s love, for people with special needs ages 14 and older. On one night each year, more than 700 churches from around the world come together to host this event for approximately 90,000 honored guests. Bayside Chapel is privileged to be one of these churches!

Join us on February 7, 2025, from 6-9 PM as we hold a prom night that we will never forget! We will walk the red carpet, enjoy the royal treatment, and dance the night away!
